Help talk:Congress/Vote equality
| |
This bill, Vote equality, has passed the Wiki's Congress Committee and will be laid down as a law! |
I hated it when people ay only the BOB an vote in Congress. This isn't the democracy, it's an oligarchy.
My solution? Let anyone vote in Congress. This makes it a democacy and kritocracy. Otherwise, it's webmasterism all over again. except the amounts of WMs are greatly increased. --Zapwire (Living after midnight, rockin' to the dawn) 16:51, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Leader's View[edit]
I half agree. First of all, we're not Kritocracy. Kritocracy is a nation ruled by judges. BOB ain't judges. We are a mix between a Representative democracy and a Parliamentary democracy.
Anyway, back to the subject. My view is:
1. First, the BOB votes on whether we should allow users, sysops and rollbacks vote.
2. A template will be put up, saying whether anybody can vote, or only BOBmasters should.
2.1. If only BOB can vote, then a comment section will be added, so that the users can express there views.
3. This makes us a: Representative democracy Parliamentary democracy Republic with a Upper House Congress and a Lower House Senate. For short, a BOBmasterism Republic!
- I agree with the Leader. There should be a decision made on who can vote before the bill opens. And the comment box is also a good idea. Yours "Falsely", Explorer 767 (The Nerd Quibbles On...) View this template 20:07, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- I say, we leave Congress be. But users can express their vote on the talk, but that cvote doesn't count. --HappyfaceWantsToTalk 20:48, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- Though I agree with HF and say not to change it, I would gladly adhere to the Leader's policy, because it's a darn good one! --† कछुए मशरूम! Jesus Loves You and Died for You!! † :) :) DON'T YOU DARE QUIT BECAUSE OF WHAT I JUST TYPED!!!!!!!! † 21:21, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
