Iron Island is a city of Portal Island, and is connected to the main island by the Portal Bridge. It is famous for its mineral deposits. Hence the name, iron is the most common mineral on the island. The middle of the city is heavily populated, it also has an airport and a small but steadily growing graveyard for miners. Overall the island is relatively flay and rather grassy. It used to be home to a rare breed of canaries but they died out soon after the miners settled on the island
Background[edit]
Iron Island was founded when Portal Island explorer and soon-to-be President Aloom climbed on the top Of Mt. Alamos. He spotted Iron Island on the horizon. Soon after, penguins began settling there. The Portal Bridge was built to connect the islands soon after the city was established.
Places[edit]
The most popular place on the island is probably the Sinnoh Department Store. The mines are near the city outskirts and are the most important places on the island.
Inhabitants[edit]
Penguins, Puffles, and Dolphins live on or in the water surrounding the island. A rare breed of Canaries known only to the island used to also inhabit the island before being wiped out by penguins.
