Japaland Airlines is an Japalandese-based airline headquartered in Tokio. The airline the official flag carrier of Japaland, and is 55% privitized and 45% state-owned. The airline has hubs at Tanaka and Yamamoto International Airports in Jokio, Nakamura-Takahashi International Airport and New Hanami International Airport. The airline has 55 fleet, and offers service to 27 destinations across the country.

History[edit]

Japaland Airlines was originally founded as New Japalandese Aero Lines, under the Ministry of Aviation and Space, and was used to provide expensive, yet bad service to the aristocrats of the Japalandese society at the time in 1995. Many of the fleet utilized then were incredibly obsolete, with planes dating back to the early 1930s in some instances.

After a large public outcry in 2000, New Japalandese Aero Lines sold 55% of it's shares to a private company, who at the time controlled at least ninety other enterprises inside the country. Then, new jet aircraft replaced the old piston-driven propeller aircraft and started operating international service to New North Etana, the Happyface State, Eastshield, Club Penguin and South Pole City.

The airline was largely successful and was lucrative at both international and domestic travel. The airline then created new regional affiliates, which also became popular regionally as well.

Though the state of New North Etana was hit by the FAAA's flight ban, flights operating out of Jokio and Japaland Airline hubs were unaffected, after negotiations with the USA and FAAA.
