Jing Jongs City is the island capital of the island, and literally covers half of the island. It (nearly) matches the size of South Pole City, and is known for its tranquil environment and relaxing atmosphere. It was established when Jing Jongs founded the island, became the de facto capital for the Equinox Kingdom during the late '80s and '90s, and eventually became one of the more popular sea ports north of Antarctica. Jing Jongs is currently the mayor of the city.
Based on the town plan, it is separated into three areas: Inner Districts, City Neighbourhoods and the Heartlands. The Inner Districts include the Central District, where the City Hall is located, the Bayfront Area, where the popular Jing Jongs Central Mall resides, the Financial District and a Recreational District, a modern planned district devoted to recreational purposes. The City Neighbourhoods include Ourerberg, Ivonson, Louvre and Elstonbond, in which individual "hoodkeepers" organize events and handle cultural affairs. The Heartlands are the furthest from the governor and include the Brown neighbourhoods, separated into West and East, and the Gobachev.
History[edit]
Jing Jongs City was founded as a fishing settlement in 1987 by Jing Jongs. He supposedly governed the area, without officially establishing a government, until its annexation into one of the Three Kingdoms - the Eniox Kingdom. It was renamed Kaba Jinjon, the town name in Eniox-Korean. The city prospered slowly - development was slow due to Jing Jong's disadvantage
