Kermit O'Riley (born July 27, 1974) is an Antarctican TV presenter, comedian and actor best known for presenting reality shows Antarctican Idol (2009-2013) and The CP Factor (2014-present). He is also a professional actor and comedian starting many comedy shows and even acts in plays and TV shows.
Background[edit]
Kermit O'Riley was born on July 27, 1974 on Club Penguin Island. When he was 6, his parents split up and he had to live with his mom in Snowgo. Their family was poor and his mom couldn't get a job so they couldn't afford rent. When he was 11, O'Riley went and tried to get a job to pay for his rent. After many failed interviews, he got a job at a local pizza shop and got paid $25 a week. He put all of the money towards food and rent. Unfortunately after 29 weeks of work, O'Riley was fired from his job after giving a man a pizza with toppings he was allergic to. When he was 19, he moved out of his mom's house after she got a job to pay rent for herself. He got another job at a coffee shop and got enough money to pay rent for himself. After 12 hard years of working at that coffee shop, the shop closed down after a bank robbery where the shop was destroyed. Nobody got hurt but with almost all equipment damaged (and even some of it impossible to repair), the manager had no choice but to close it for good.
That was when O'Riley took up a career in acting and comedy. He got a minor role in a television show called The Simpenguins in the 9th episode of the third season and then got a major role as Barney Cowell in a television show called Penguins Out. The show went on for 13 seasons before it ended in October 2004. O'Riley started a comedy TV show called Comedy Kermit where he would usually joke about with a few friends doing stuff on the street (of course, it was all staged). The show was met with positive reception and is still going on today.
O'Riley's presenting career really started in 2009 when he became the new presenter for Antarctican Idol replacing Charles Maniaca von Injoface who left to work on projects such as Absolute Thespian Islet. He presented the show from 2009 to 2013. That's when he announced his departure from the series to become the new presenter for the upcoming reality television show known as The CP Factor. He has been presenting the show since it's debut in 2014 and has not had any thoughts of quitting since.
Trivia[edit]
