The Foret is Kaiser's Swiss Ninja's first ship. Now a military frigate, it has become Snowzerland's main flag ship in war that houses Swiss Ninja, his his bounty hunter cronies, and his top naval generals. It was originally used for exploration in its early days, but is now only used in military operations or occationally travel.
History[edit]
The Forêt was originally built in Frankterre in 1963 as a cargo ship. The ship served a Frankterran shipping company for a few decades until it was decomissioned in 1995, where it was sent left to rot in a harbor. Circa 1998, Swiss Ninja, then a young, earnest politician with a dream of starting his own country, purchased the ship for 10,000 coins, even though the piece of junk was really worth 5,000 coins. Swiss was a desperate penguin since he was not as rich as he is now. He had to purchase the ship with the financial aid of his father, Red River 2, his brothers Gaston and Fisch, and some of the penguins who had helped to invest in Swiss Ninja's disorganized UCSN (United Cities of Swiss Ninja) political system. Nevertheless, when the ship was purchased, Swiss completely consolidated ownership of the frigate. A few years later, Swiss was able to renovate and improve the ship to make it a military ship. He had added guns, replaced the empty storage compartments with more appealing living facilities for himself and the crew, installed several cannons, a radar, GPS system, and a large ammunition room. The ship had been involved in SN's exploration of the Fanon world, discovery of Snowzerland, and Swiss Ninja's rumored controversial story of going to the Arctic. The latter of which is considered to be a false tale that was made as propaganda to boost SN's image. During the rise of Snowzerland and the Great Snowzerland Wars, the ship stopped exploration and went full time into military service and for SN's transportation, as it is today.
Trivia[edit]
- After its purchase, Le Forêt's rusty hull was made thicker to withstand icebergs and enemy firepower better.
- The ship's name means "The Forest" in French. This is its original name, as SN didn't bother to rename it.
- Le Forêt has only withstood minor damage during the Great Snowzerland Wars.
- It is planned for Le Forêt to be retired in 2025, where it will be put into Snowzerland's Museum of Nautical History in the capital, Geneva.
