Mullinst is an exoplanet located in the Milky Way Galaxy which is around two-third of the size of Earth currently being researched by the Margatian Space Agency since as late as April 2023. Orbiting around a star which has the same name with the exoplanet with three smaller moons, it is known to be the home of numerous underwater volcanoes, which Margatian researchers confirmed that they spewed out superheated gases containing numerous precious metals. Another fact about the planet which the MSA found out is the existence of intelligent life, with a species of penguin-like creatures who possess heights taller than their earthly counterparts and elongated heads called the Mullins making up 87% of the penguin-like natives. The Margatian government has kept the planet's existence secret from the rest of Antarctica.
History[edit]
Scientists are still debating when was Mullinst formed, with the sum ranging from 4 billion years to 6 billion years ago. As the evolutionary process occurred, two species of penguin-like creatures were formed. The first is the Mullin(s), who are known for having a creative mind, hard-working, possessing great business acumen and peace-lovers. The other, slightly younger species is called the Kaljenerian(s), who are known for being brave, having great strength and excellent warriors. Over time, cities were built and trade flourished under the Mullins, with the Kaljenerians acting as soldiers and providing security to the Mullins. As recent as the late 1980s, the planet has been attacked several times by space pirates who seized the nearby moons of Consus and Titius as their bases.
In mid April 2023, a fleet of space cruisers from the newly-formed Margatian Space Agency accidentally stumbled onto the Mullinst system not long after the MSA managed to utilize hyperspace travel for its space fleets. Since then it has conducted scientific studies on the planet and launched a few probes to the planet's most remote areas in order to avoid attraction. It has also launched several small-scale anti-piracy operations against the pirates of Consus and Titius, with some degree of success. Soon, the Margatians got greedy and decided to annex the planet by offering the native rulers a treaty which granted them autonomy and full Margatian protection in exchange for annexation. As soon as the treaty was signed, President Frederick Mueller authorized a campaign to eradicate the pirates by all means possible, including orbital bombardment, which was successful.
Defense[edit]
The planet is primarily defended by the native Kaljenerians, most of whom joined because of their enhanced strength and agility. Nexonan Penguins also play a role in defending the planet as numerous Nexonan Penguins moved to the planet due to their always-present overpopulation issues. While the planet itself wasn't a strategic location to launch military operations (that role was taken by the planet's natural satellites instead), it does have one of the best defense system of all time. Massive space defense platforms, armed with hundreds (if not thousands of) turbolaser turrets, proton torpedo launchers and docked with several hundreds of star fighters, orbited the planet, allowing them to take down any hostile space fleets. By the side of the space defense platforms were numerous gun platforms with enough concentrated firepower to take down large space cruisers. If that's not enough, numerous force field generators also prevented the entry of any enemies just in case they managed to bring down the planet's orbital defense stations. Tall defense towers, packed with firepower, tractor beam projectors and EMP turrets, are also built on the planet's surface in order to avert any invasion.
Geographic features[edit]
Mullunst is a lush world of forests, plains, and tall, jagged mountain peaks. It had a liquid iron core, a strong magnetic field, and was volcanically active throughout its known history. The planet has a temperate climate, which ranges from between 0 and 20 degree Celsius, and has all four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Its rather shallow oceans, which made up 83% of the planet's surface, contained hundreds of conical volcanoes built up by powerful vents in the crust. About 49% of these spewed out superheated gases containing rich, pure precious metals from the planet's core. The very cones surrounding these vents were made up of layers of precious metals, mixed in with the mollusks, tube-worms, and bioluminescent ferns nurtured by the heat and water. These metals include gold, silver, platinum, rhodium and other precious metals. Others spewed out more common metals, such as iron, copper, aluminium, nickel, zinc, tin and chromium. In parts of the oceans, most notably those near the coast, vast deposits of natural gas are found, which is more abundant than oil.
In addition to these, new elements were also discovered deep in the ocean of the planet. Among them is an element codenamed BYZ-666, which, despite being able to provide energy, is unfortunately too unstable and radioactive to be mined at massive quantities, and as such almost useless. An attempt to stabilize it was once done at sea, but it resulted in the deaths of all personnel involved and an earthquake with a magnitude of 11.4. Margatian authorities have steadfastly refused to declassify documents regarding BYZ-666 or the experiment. Another, FZN-858, is also a radioactive element, but it is only useful in providing energy. The Margatian government have refused to use FZN-858 as an energy source either, saying that using it would be akin to using uranium. There are rumors that Margate has been trying to utilize BYZ-666 as a weapon, but they are all vehemently denied and said to be lies.
The planet's lands are divided into three parts. The largest is called Janask, which resembles the continents of North America and Africa on Earth. The second, called Danastull, is located northeast of Janask, resembling North Asia and East Asia. The smallest, called New Gaia, is located southwest of Janask, which is roughly in the shape of Southeast Asia and Oceania. Several parts of the planet's land are rich in fertile chernozem soil, which contains a high percentage of humus and hphosphoric acids, phosphorus and ammonia, making it ideal for agricultural activities.

Mullunst is home to two species of penguin-like creatures. The first is the Mullin(s), who are known for having a creative mind, hard-working, possessing great business acumen and peace-lovers. They have elongated heads, around 1.7 m tall and notably skinny. The other, slightly younger species is called the Kaljenerian(s), who are known for being brave, having great strength and excellent warriors. The Kaljenerians are much larger and muscular than the Mullins, being around 2.1 m tall. The oceans of the planet contain a diverse marine ecosystem, having at least 1.2 million species of sea creatures, most of which are edible.
