Simpletons & Gangsters is the debut studio album by Antarctican singer-songwriter, Nevim. The album was announced in August 2010, while production started in June 2010 and ended in March 2011. The album was produced by Yusei, Nevim, Zippy Penguin, Childpengu1 and Flipperstomp. It released on April 11, 2011 and charted in the Top 10 in all charts, hitting the number 1 spot in four. Three successful singles were released from the album. The label Club Penguin Music Records released the album, along with a lot of promotion. Nevim and Yusei served as the executive producers of the album. Simpletons & Gangsters mostly consists of R&B, pop and soul songs, along with elements of rhythm and blues. 12 songs were put onto the final and normal version of the album. The Deluxe Edition contains two more songs. The album gained mainly positive reviews.
