The National University of Acadia is a prestigious university located in Acadia. It was founded in 1740 and is the oldest university in Acadia. The University is located close to downtown Acadia.
History[edit]
In 1650, the Puffish colonial government in Acadia voted unanimously to build a university in Acadia, so that the young penguins wouldn't need to travel to Puffle'and to learn the skills for highly skilled jobs. The university opened as a small building with a few students. However, when the government hired skilled teachers from Puffle'and, penguins started to attend more.
By the time Colonial Antarctica came along, the university had grew to multiple buildings and was famous across Antarctica. Students from all over Antarctica came to learn at the university. However, in 1999, classes were disrupted for the first time when the Acadian Revolution started. Fighting caused the school to close, down and during the war, both sides used it as a fort.
At the end of the war, in late 1999, the university was almost completely destroyed. The Acadian government decided to rebuild the university in its 1600s style architecture as it was. Construction was finished in 2005, and classes started that same year. To this day, penguins across Antarctica come to learn or to just admire its beauty.
Campus[edit]
The National University of Acadia has the largest campus in Acadia and the third largest campus in Antarctica, after the University of South Pole City and Club Penguin University. There are 50 buildings on campus. Dorms are in the northwest section of the campus. The architecture is that of the 1600s, when the university was built. Many of the buildings are orderly, and well maintained.
