New Con City Airport (CCN) is the main airport serving the island nation of New Chi Con and it's capital city. The airport has two runways, Runway 33/15 (11,700 ft.) and Runway 9/27 (7,800 ft.).The airport is a hub for Air Chi Con, the island's national airline. The airport also has one main terminal, Terminal A and a Cargo Terminal as well. The airport recently opened in December of 2009.

History[edit]

Chi Con, at first, was only reachable by ferry from the mainland, but had very low loadfactors, due to the fact that trips took about eight hours from the island to the mainland. The Chi Con Council wanted to start a huge eighty mile bridge from the island, to the nearby city of Polaris, but was rejected, since the projected cost would have been 89 billion fish, which would almost bankrupt the nation. But, then, a new deal was reached with Sancho Monte Captio to build an airport in a 10 sq. mile field near the city center. The construction on the project started on April 2, 2009 and ended on December 12, 2009. The airport opened that day, with it's maiden flight Air Chi Con Flight 67, bound for Polaris
