Description

• Maka Swiss was once a normal girl, until one day, she mysteriously was fused during a solar flare with superhero DNA. It also happened during the prom, when she got super strength and knocked out a guy double-dipping in the chocolate fountain. Now, her destiny has been revealed to become the superhero Peng Mewmew, who can save the cities from government conspiracies and villains...

Controversy

Peng Mewmew was originally imported from Rockhopper Island pirated TV feeds to air on Penguin TV, which caused some controversy because most imported shows were low-quality rip-offs of Punctuation Lagoon (which is a bad show to begin with), but so far it has received decent/good reviews.

Strange following

Peng Mewmew, for some reason, has received a large following of male penguins 18-35, despite being aimed at female penguins 9-14 and 12-17. The creator is well aware of this, and often puts gags in the show aimed at them.

• An animation error in the second episode when Maka transforms into Peng Mewmew caused her to have "derp eyes." This is often poked fun at by the older fanbase.
