Penguin Convention

Penguin Con is an annual event held at the convention center in South Pole City every August. Dozens of comic, TV, and movie fans from all over the USA attend this event every year. Penguin Con is the leading source of information in the country. The convention center is packed with penguins in costume, and each major company has their own panel to leak information about new projects. Raffles are even held and merchandise is given out. A Q&A session is also held with representatives from the company.

Years

Every year, the convention is held for five days, from August 1st to August 6th.

2011

• Willy and Kody fans got a first look at the Willy and Kody: The Digital Domain movie.
• SHAZAM Comics announces plans to begin the SHAZAM Cinematic Universe with Iron Penguin in 2012.
• Snowtendo shows gameplay with the Vii U.
• Season 3 of Ultimate Club Penguin Adventures is announced.

2012

• Atendees at the Penguin Network panel saw the pilot episode of Club Penguin: The TV Series. There was a Q&A with the cast and crew, and there were raffles. Pengjago: Masters of Pufflejitsu was announced for 2013.
• Club Penguin Music Records announces Cadence's tour for late 2013.
• Darktan II's army invaded and caused the event to close early.

2013

• The Penguin Network panel's main attraction this year was a sneak peek at the two part Club Penguin: The TV Series season finale, Where's Fluffy?. The new Leego show Legends of Pengma was teased.
• There was an Icey Television Animation panel that Alex Pengh (Snowy Falls) and Craig McCracktheiceberg (Holster's Home for Imaginary Friends; Ponder the Galaxy) visited, where a clip of the first episode of Snowy Falls and the announcement for the upcoming 2014 series Ponder the Galaxy were held.

2014

• Henry Fisch, creator of Penguin Network's Crainer, has revealed a new show airing on the Icey Channel., Comet vs. the Forces of Evil
• The Finestade LegendFish released a new logo, going to come into play after the 2014-2015 season.
• Cadence and Charlene Watson gave Antarctica a preview about Inside Out.

Trivia

• Mabel claims that the convention is for Mwa Mwa Penguins who have no lives, but this doesn't stop penguins from attending it.
• The 2012 convention had to be put on hold while the EPF battled Darktan II's army in a sudden war at the convention center.
• Tay Tay designs the costumes penguins wear at this event.
• It is a parody of San Diego Comic Con International.
