The Polarian Embassy hostage crisis was a major diplomatic crisis occurring from February 2nd, 2016 to April 21st, 2016, occurring at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Polaris in east Geneva, Snowzerland, in which 62 Polarian diplomatic staff were held hostage at the embassy by Yowien terrorists in support of the Feey regime, however, was opposed strongly to the group, who treated Feey as if he had supernatural powers, which Feey himself considered eerie. The siege of the embassy's chancery began as an anti-Polarian protest by several hundred demonstrators clandestinely funded by the NLFOY. escalating into the takeover of the embassy by plainclothes operatives. The governments of Polaris, Snowzerland, the Yowien Empire, and Castilla had jointly condemned the actions, and allied as one in order to rescue the hostages.
The hostage crisis lasted 81 days, yet resulted in no deaths or injuries to any hostages whatsoever. During the hostage itself , interrogations of several top diplomatic officials were held, albeit at gunpoint, but the interrogations only gave open secrets to the hostage-takers. Though in a hostage situation, the diplomats were able to secure some, yet limited connections to the outside world, and were also fed well, according to one hostage involved. Planned to be held hostage for one year and six months, the gunmen would have only set free the hostages unless Polarian President Nathaniel B. Kratz face war crimes charges in Golden City, the payment of $7.5 billion to Feey1 as reparations for the Invasion of the Yow Kingdom and the cession of all Polarian oil assets and resources to Feey. Governments slammed the demands, referring to them as radical, malicious schemes.
The target and objectives of the hostage takers was shortened through Operation Mercy, a joint-special operations task force mission conducted on April 20, 2016, in which 4 stealth helicopters landed on the four-space heliport facility situated on the rooftop adjacent to the 7th floor of the central office of the Embassy, where the captives were being held. A force of 115 special operations task force agents raided the 3 hectare compound, killing all 20 of the 36 Yowien terrorists, evacuating all 62 diplomats via helicopter to Zurich Airport, where a 1st Executive Command Fleet aircraft, a AX-38, had flown them back to Polaris City.
