Robert Smith is the former president of Snowiny, who served from July 22nd, 2013 to July 31, 2015. He was the 3rd and last president of Snowiny since the first president George McGlee (2001 - 2003) and Patrick Tea (2003 - 2013). He was been hired to replace Patrick Tea to run Snowiny as Patrick Tea had became highly unintelligent.
He was elected as the president when signing the contract for presidency of Snowiny. In February 2014, he became the prime minister of Snowiny, too. Robert is known for bringing Snowiny to the height of its power. He is also the brother of Dominic Smith, the former president and current Secretary of State of Acadia's brother. Somehow, in 2014, Smith became king of Snowiny, and appointed a new prime minister, but remained president. His reign and presidency both ended in late July 2015 in a revolution which created the United Provinces and instated Simon McClark as president of the new republic.

Robert Smith was born on December 18, 1970, in Penguin Town, present day Club Penguin. By the time he was born, his family had lived in Penguin Town for only a few weeks. Much of his early life was uneventful, he just followed whatever his older brother did.
Eventually, when he was old enough, he moved to Snowiny, a country that was recovering from the devastating Snowinn Civil War. Through the years, he rose up ranks in government, before being elected president in 2011 by a really tight margin of 48.34% to 48.32% against Jacob Goldberg. In 2014, he declared himself as king, becoming both President and King. Many were shocked by this, but he had the backing of his brother in Acadia, who was president at the time.
Throughout Robert's presidency and kingship, Snowiny was involved in many different wars, with the most devastating being the Antarctic War on Terrorism, in which countless lives were lost. He also founded the Western Union, a political organization that consisted of Snowiny, Margate, Terra Federation, Amataria, Acadia, and Caseusopolis.
By July 2015, many penguins became tired of Robert Smith's rule. In a bloodless revolution, Robert was ousted and a republic, called the United Provinces, was restored.
He is still a very prominent politician. There are still calls to restore the kingdom in Snowiny, with supporters saying that Smith brought an era of prosperity to Snowiny. Smith remained a prominent critic of the UP government, and at times of crisis his support often rose, such as during the Avalon Missile Crisis or the January Crisis, during which Smith's popularity skyrocketed and McClark's plummeted.

- He is generally seen as an idiot by other statesmen, especially by the Margatian government for proclaiming monarchy in Snowiny. You could consider him the George W. Bush of the Fanon world.
- Dominic Smith, Robert Smith's brother, was the president of Acadia before January 2015.
