Ruben de Corovoû was a salesperson who was Slidur's father. He died on June 15, 2009, just after his son's birthday due to old age. Slidur currently mourns and remembers the good times in childhood he had with his father.

Ruben was born in 1935 on what is now Liguria. He hatched like Koobly Khan except his father never dropped his egg. Ruben was very interested in cars at the time due to the fact that they were just invented. He'd climb trees, make sand mountains, and do everything his son would do.
