The Seal Islands have many smaller colonies under their jurisdiction. Many of these colonies share very Nordic conditions, and are either in the Boltic Sea or hold close ties with the Boltics.

Pengvia[edit]

Pengvia is a small and progressive Boltic colony located just north of Frosthuania. It has a very low population with an even lower population density, about 20,000 penguins. They have strong ties with the Frosthuanians, being culturally and traditionally tied to each other. Pengvia is a very low-lying dependency, only being about 100ft above sea level on average. The colony has an extremely pleasant environment; one of the best in Antarctica, which makes tourism a large industry.

Frosthuania[edit]

Frosthuania is Pengvia's southern neighbor. Compared to Pengvia, it's population is higher, aroung 90,000 penguins. The density of the population, however, is even smaller, due to the fact that Frothuania is larger than Pengvia by territory. It lies even lower than Pengvia, only about 60ft above sea level. This colony is rather more industrial and the environment is not too pleasant.

Suome[edit]

Suome is known for holding a lot of the "largest", "biggest" and "tallest" records for Seal Islands. It is the largest colony by territory, however, it's population is only about 5,000,000 penguins, which makes the density very small. Most of the population is clustered around the southern edge and the northern tip is pretty much empty. Suome is known for having quite a long history. Different from the rest of the archipelago, Finnish is mainly spoken here, although Dutch and English maintain a large performance. Suome is the highest-lying colony, with it's tip reaching to 1500 feet.

Õland Islands[edit]

Õland Islands is an independent colony under the rule of Suome. As such all laws that are not already implemented in the Seal Islands but are in Suome are included in Õland Islands. What makes it an independent colony is the fact that it has it's own government. Õland Islands features a big amount of Sleetish population. The name includes a letter in the Freezestonian alphabet, due to the fact that when the naming convention took place, Freezestonia (a semi-independent nation in the Boltic Sea) suggested it.

Trivia[edit]

  • Rumoured for children in many places in Antarctica that, Santa Claus lives in northern Suome, in Lappiland, precisely. The rumour, however, has been turned into money, as such during Christmas, over 1,000,000 penguins from all around Antarctica visit Lappiland. Lappiland is also the place where different Antarctic bird species migrate to during October-March, which also attracts bird-watchers.

Pengmark[edit]

Pengmark lies southwest of Suome. It is the most populated colony, with about 7,000,000 penguins. 95% of the penguins speak Danish as their mother tongue, although almost 100% have a knowledge of the language. English is also widely known, almost no one speaks it as a mother tongue, but Pengmarkish penguins are known to be the only place where English is not a mother tongue, but 100% of the citizens still understand it. Dutch is only spoken by 2% of the population, and only about 25% maintain a knowledge of Dutch, which makes Dutch only used in government issues with the main archipelago.
