The Second Munijoch Civil War is the second civil war fought on Munijoch's soil. Taking place in 2018, it involves the rise of an old organization known as the Knights of the Broken Blade, who take over Mt. Vespa in an attempt to seize control over Munijoch's nuclear stockpile. A massive two year civil war ensues, in which a mass genocide of the order takes place, at the cost of both collateral damage to Munijoch and the landscape, leading up to The Great Bomb, cracking the island and creating a massive rift where Mt. Vespa once was. One of the costliest wars in history, Munijoch refused aid, citing needs to band together and overcome this conflict as a single, unified country in the face of the conflict.

Prologue: Rise of the Order[edit]

"Decimous! Fetch me my blade! We must begin the ritual, lest we be late again."

"Yes sir."

"I have a feeling that this time will be different than last time. It was a miracle one of our agents received a shard of the Infinite Engine from those lunatics in the mountain. They're none the wiser though about raising a true army."

"Perhaps, sir."

"Now, at once, sink your blade into the rock. One... Two... Three!"

SHEENK!!

Light emanated from the blade, flowing like a river toward the obelisk in the center of the cave. Ancient carvings and symbols illuminated the room, blasting ethereal signs around it. The cave began to rumble and shake under the light, now morphing from a pink to a dark purple, cracking the ground around it. It sank for a minute, only to rise up in a large pillar to the top of the room, cracking the ceiling. It continued to rise, until daylight shone through the opening, the obelisk standing high and mighty. It looked down upon Mt. Vespa City, making everyone look at it's omnipotence.

"Now..."

The blade cracked, revealing a glowing purple blade that extended further than the solid tip. Said solid tip was now sinking further into the ground, further illuminating the room, and making the obelisk hum.

"Let's raise an army."

The figure sliced the pillar, transferring energy from the blade to the pillar. The energy rose all the way up, now collecting in a ball at the top. A final stab of the blade into the rock caused it to burst, sending a shock wave across the entire Mt. Vespa City region, enclosing it inside a purple bubble.

Citizens from the city exited their houses in droves, stopping outside the mountain, seemingly awaiting orders from the two standing.

"Peyor, sir... it worked!"

"Indeed it did, Decimous. Indeed it did."

Peyor climbed the stairs of the pillar, arriving on a platform at the top of it. He marveled at the people standing there, waiting for his commands and to do his bidding without protest. He laughed to himself and stuck his blade in the air.

"Fellow citizens! Today, a new era of peace and prosperity has arrived! I have liberated you from your monotonous lives and delivered you to the future! But, the current government of this land and another group are keen on stopping us! We must not let this happen! By the orders of your leader, I command you all to rise up, resist the government! Raise our weapons from the ground and send their armies to the sky!" he yelled, filling the air with rage and excitement.

This was just the beginning.

A mere blip on the radar.

The scientists at the Munijoch Vanguard Force Headquarters watch global affairs very closely. They take all of it with a grain of salt, be it a test or an actual nuclear strike on another country. They're the eyes in the sky, and often will retaliate if it's a home threat. Lately, however, the region has been silent without an explanation as to why. There was, however, a test of several weapons in the Mt. Vespa region of Munijoch. The radar man assumed the blip to be one of said tests.

"Keep watching, private. A threat can occur at any given moment." Isaac Juggernaut said, inspecting all posts.

"Aye, sir." he replied, only to find that the dot grew bigger, marginally, that is.

He said nothing, however, lest he anger his commander. Everyone knows the consequence of angering the Iron Juggernaut of Munijoch.

As the radar continued to monotonously spin around and around on the screen, military traffic controllers continued their jargon. Reports were coming in from reconnaissance craft regarding a large purple dome appearing in Sector V.A-F, covering the entire mountain chain. Per the order of Isaac Juggernaut, jets were scrambled to the target area. Their icons were on the radar, travelling quick to the anomaly, until they suddenly disappeared from view.

"Sir! We lost all squadron jets in Fleet 7-B!" the flight coordinator exclaimed, looking surprised.

Isaac took a good look at the gauges and began to evaluate his options. He could either send more jets to their doom or investigate matters himself. Either way, someone was to die.

"Let them come to us, wait for them, yes. Make our offense our defense and enable Code LI-89, immediately" he replied, looking further into the radar.

The radar's constant spinning hypnotized him, it made him see things that weren't real, and real things became fake. In it, he saw invasions, advancing fronts, all closing in on them. He knew he had to act fast before that became an actual reality for him. With a heavy heart, and iron fist, he grabbed the headset from the flight coordinator, put it on and said three words to the airbase.

"Burn the ground."

"Madam Secretary! Do bring me my itinerary of today's activities against the enemy!"

"Yes, sir."

The wizard emerged in his robes, bleached perfectly white, save for a yellow star and a metal shoulder pad. Don't call them robes though, for it's a war kilt. His eyes glowed yellow under the hood, completely shadowing his face from everyone, giving a feeling of omnipotence among his peers. He was the Omnipotent Blood, after all. He was Mark Yslenski.

"Okay sir, we still have no reports regarding the missing fragment of the Engine, yet we have a promising lead from our sleeper agents within Mt. Vespa City regarding a band of lunatics. They're called the... hold on here... Knights of the Broken Blade?"

Mark Yslenski paused in his upbeat tracks.

"I've heard that name before. An ancient order dating to the medieval era of Antarctica. What would they want that crystal for?" Mark asked, taking the report for himself.

"Whatever it was, it worked. The vitals for the agents reveal that they're in a trance of sorts. Brain Waves are intertwined and under a hypnosis. Also, you can see a large purple dome from the top of the mountain, so I just kinda assumed, sir." she replied.

Mark ignored this and grabbed a book from a shelf, only to place it back and open a hidden room. Inside, among cup holders, were unimportant books regarding the meaning of life and other fun stuff. Instead, what he was after was the ultra rare "On the basis of Ethereal Mind Control, Vol. 1, Edition No. 2." He pulled it out and flipped to the index, locating "purple dome," and flipping to the correct page. On there was a picture exactly matching the imagery described by her.

"They're using the Engine for this! Only an Osmium-Carbide blade can react the engine like that. They must've perfected it to get it that big of an area, however" he said, grimly.

He put the book back and walked to an ornate looking telephone, pulling out a blank piece of paper. When he looked at it, however, a number appeared and two letters, "J.Y."

"I'll make a few calls, missus. I'll call you up if I need you."
