The Short War was a 4-hour lasting conflict that took place 1st November, 2014 (beginning at 1:04 PM and ending 5:37 PM). After the assassination of Friedrich Rommel a few days later, a general in the NNM, Key Preston, self-proclaims himself the new ruler of the NNM and, immediately, without any preparations or trainings, sent out his troops to attack Snowiny. He first stationed his troops in Stoland. Although the NNM military outnumbered the Snowinian, the NNM soldiers were very tired, and within a matter of only 1 hour, over half of their military was already dead. Preston started to begin a withdrawl of their military, but they weren't that fast, and the Snowinians quickly with ease destroyed his army. The new leader was eventually assassinated, and all captured Snowinians were released. NNM ceased to exist after this conflict.

Prelude[edit]
The Newdeal Civil War ended on 23rd October and Snowinians were cheerful. However, tensions continued with the NNM and on December 1st, under the new self proclaimed leader Key Preston attacked the Snowinian island of Stoland.
The War[edit]
At 1:10 PM, NNM military successfully landed at the south coast of Stoland but were very tired. At 1:15 PM, the Snowinian military entered combat with NNM and won a major victory at the port town of Glansk by 1:56 PM. NNM didn't successfully occupy any single village nor town in Stoland and failed to keep up the war. By 3:24 PM most of the military was in shambles. Preston then decided to withdraw, but he didn't withdraw in time before over 80,000 Snowinian soldiers pushed the NNM into the ocean. The military of the NNM trying to withdraw by large ships but Snowinian soldiers killed every soldier by the coast trying to get on a ship. Snowinian ships from Glansk arrived and smashed the halfway wrecked NNM ships from the Newdeal Civil War. NNM quickly suffered defeat and Snowinian spies executed Preston at 4:58 PM, and by 5:37 PM, the war was cancelled and was described as a failed war to the NNM side. NNM ceased to exist after the war.
Aftermath[edit]
Snowiny didn't suffer a lot from this war and there weren't many casualties. However, the threat of armed Nexonan terrorists was still present.
Trivia[edit]
- This is the shortest war in Antarctic history.
- Rumors have it that Preston may have won if he didn't hastily declare war at Snowiny. However, NNM military had 4 days of break before the war started and Preston came to power during the dusk on 31st October (Halloween). Another reason that caused the NNM's defeat is because most NNM members quit after Preston took power, claiming that 'he's not Alemanian or Zhouese enough'. The sudden bailout severely demoralized the remaining hardline members.
