Snowball Soft is the oldest still living video game and software company first made in 1989. It made many popular games like the three in the CP Dance Lounge, "Thin Ice", "Bits and Bolts" and "Astro Barrier".

History[edit]

The creator of Snowball Soft, Jonathan Mukluk, wanted to make games for everyone to enjoy as there was a lack of fun back then. He created Snowball Soft with his 3 friends, Daniel, Ross and Kevin. They all started working on they're very first games, Astro Barrier and Thin Ice, founded 1991. They immediately in a week reached 100,000 hits. In 1992, they created an software for making your own easy animations, but it fell in 1994, but many penguins still use it to this day. In 1996, they created the game "Snowball Fighter", an game where you have to fight and defend yourself. They created new versions every month. Sadly in 1997, the game shutdown due to lack of money. In 2000., the game was revived as Snow Fights, and was the first game to reach 1,000,000 plays. It quickly made new versions like Snow Fights 2 in 2001, Snow Fights 3D in 2004 and Snow Fights 4 in 2007. In 2010, they were testing a new game called Bits and Bolts. They set it's full release in 2011. In 2012, they teamed up with Icey Channel and Penguin Network, which gave them lots of criticism, but they are still standing. In 2011, they sent Bits and Bolts, Astro Barrier and Thin Ice, they're very outdated games, to the Dance Lounge. In July 2013, they plan to release Snow Fights 5: Stage Magic. Sneak Peeks have been given, and many criticize this.

To this day, however, Snowball Soft is still an succesful business.
