Snowscorpions (Niveo scorpionem bestia, "snowy scorpion beast") are a mutated species of scorpion originating from the Snowjave Desert, although have since spread all over Antarctica. Known for their abnormally large size and general docility, snowscorpions have been regarded as a semi-common pest for several years.

Biology[edit]
Snowscorpions are relatively large (around the size of a large puffle) and have a thick carapace covering their entire body, with no definitive weak spot. This carapace allows snowscorpions to easily adapt to the cold Antarctican desert climate.
While they are mostly docile and do not actively attack penguins, snowscorpions are extremely territorial and actively defend their nests. As snowscorpions almost always move in groups between two and five individuals, they can be very dangerous to unsuspecting penguins moving close to a nest.
Habitat[edit]
Snowscorpions are native to Snowjave's desert climate, but cannot survive for long outside of the cold, dry area. Due to this, their expansion across the Antarctic desert was simple due to the similar dry conditions.
