Chapter 1: The Game[edit]
I just have to have that game!
The game, you ask? It's only the single best game in history, and it was totally worth waiting in line for so long. I'm buying Tails Zone: Vibrate That!, starring me. It's an adventure so intense that everyone can feel the good vibrations!
"Next!" the cashier at the counter called out.
"Tails Zone: Vibrate That!, please!" I grinned, putting my money on the counter.
"Here you go, my friend. Happy gaming!" He handed me the game, but stopped for a second.
"Hey, aren't you that penguin on the front of the cover?"
I blushed. "In the flesh."
"Well, have fun!"
I left the store carrying my new game. I stepped through the front door, kicked my shoes off, and popped the game in my Snowtendo Vii.
I felt like I was in the game myself, facing off against a vibration monarch to save the shake dimension. Then, I heard a knock at the door. I pressed the "Igloo" button to pause the game and opened the door. It was Explorer, Fred, and Metalmanager just in time for the fun. I welcomed them in.
Metal gasped, pointing to the screen. Is that what I think it is?"
I nodded. "Yep, just got it today. Wanna play?"
Metal nodded and picked up a controller.
"What about you guys?" I asked Fred and Explorer.
"I've heard that video games can decapitate a young mind," Fred explained. Explorer stifled a laugh.
"C'mon, a round or two won't hurt." I held up two Vii remotes.
"A round or two" lasted about five long hours. We were all tired and decided to sleep.
When we woke up, I brought the guys to the arcade. We had a great time playing the Ford Car and Link racing game.
After a few minutes, we saw the actual Ford Car at the arcade wanting to play the game as well. He noticed us playing together, so he joined in on the fun, and Link had tagged along. After a competition deciding who was the best at the game (Fred just kept score), the ultimate race began!
Chapter 2: The Ultimate Test[edit]
At Fire Speedway, we were ready to race. Tensions were rising. I loosened my grip on the steering wheel. The checkered flag fell before us and we were off!
And after the races, the six of us were thinking of something to do. I considered an arena round of Tails6000 and the Secret Rings. Everyone who was playing chose their characters, and the others just watched. The game was fast paced and hilarious. Everyone laughed as we eliminated each other every round. Then we played Super Sapie Bros. Brawl. Everyone got a kick out of the game; we were able to brawl to the death with a few overdrives in the mix.
After the games, our flippers were exhausted from mashing buttons. Then, Link suggested a prank war.
"We'll divide ourselves into teams," he told us, "and the ones who pull the best pranks win!"
After debating about who and what, the teams that we all decided on were:
Team 1
Team 2
After the game began, everyone pulled pranks everywhere around the Troublesome Trio Headquarters. Me, Link, and Metal stood there, knowing that Team Two would fall for our prank. After we heard the loud crash, we knew that we had won. Our team gave congratulations all around, then we heard a bigger crash. My spy phone went off in my pocket.
I answered the ringing. "Hello, Tails here."
"Tails, thank goodness!" G exclaimed on the other line.
"Gary, what's the problem?"
"It's Krono!" the scientist yelped, gasping for air. "He has escaped. X bribed him to stay at Angel Island and told him that you're after the Emeralds."
"WHAT?!?" I screamed. "I would never take them!"
"Well, go and see for yourself at the island," G replied, hanging up.
"Well guys, who wants to go to Angel Island?"
Everyone cheered in response.
When we got there, Krono jumped from the ground and gave me a rough jab in the stomach. I keeled over in pain. He laughed and ran off.
"Aww, there go my powers."
Suddenly, I noticed a golden ring, shining beautifully.
"YES!" I cried, leaping towards the ring. My friends followed, but somehow, the ring had transported us into a weird checkered globe. Then I remembered. "This is the SPECIAL STAGE!" I called out gleefully.
"The special what?" Ford Car groaned.
"The special stage," I repeated. "It's a secret place where most of the Emeralds are hidden. We need to collect blue spheres. If you touch the red spheres you're immediately eliminated, and hitting the bumper sphere bounces you around backwards."
Everyone seemed to know what to do: collect the spheres.
The stage was awfully easy, for we finally had the green Emerald. We ended up back where we came from with the Emerald and our rings in tow.
"Wow, an Emerald!" Metalmanager oohed and aahed over the elusive gem.
"Guys I need your help collecting these. They're ancient artifacts that have fallen into the wrong hands. Collecting all seven provides my super forms, and with the Super Emeralds, we get hyper forms, and Explorer gets a super form. So will you guys help me out?"
Everyone nodded and we went on.
Chapter 3: The Emerald Affair[edit]
"Now let's go!" I said, navigating through the jungle.
"This will be interesting!" exclaimed Fred as he followed.
As we trudged through the jungle, a puffle sat in a bush, poorly hidden away. It was none other than Doctor Aye-Que, my puffle nemesis!
"They will have to go through my traps to get those emeralds!" Doctor Aye Que cackled from the bush.
"Now then," I began.
"Explorer, what in the name of mullet are you doing?" Fred interrupted. I looked up. Explorer was hanging from a tree branch. He grinned at us.
"I'm a bit hung up at the moment," he replied, laughing at his own joke.
Suddenly, I saw the figure of a robot moving through the jungle. "GUYS, DON'T MAKE ANY MOVEMENTS!" I exclaimed.
The robot fired missiles in the air, the treetops catching fire.
"Great, now the jungle's on fire!" Explorer whined.
"There's no time. I see a ring." I jumped, and the others followed.
This stage was different. The color scheme included more red spheres.
"No problem," I said as we began.
