Court House.png This bill, OOC-seizure, has passed the Wiki's Congress Committee and will be laid down as a law!

THE RESULT OF THESE ARTICLES OF SEIZURE WAS TO HAND ALL OOC RIGHTS AND AUTHORITIES TO EXPLORER 767 AND TURTLESHROOM, JOINTLY. THANK YOU FOR VOTING.

REQUEST FOR SEIZURE

VOTING CLOSED.

Persuant to the articles above and as guided by COC and OOC doctrine, I hereby file a request of seizure of intellectual property on the article Finipines.

For these reasons established:
  • Sancho has not cared about this article until I edited it.
  • Explorer, who was born in the RL Phillipines (and is a citizen therein) and has family still there, is not insulted, trumping the Canadian citizen, Sancho, who has Fillipino ancestry, making the article okay.
  • Sancho left this article a LQA/Stub item. Site doctrine allows anyone who expands a LQA/Stub to MQA or higher, which I successfully did (MQA2-HQA1 on my scale), to keep it, no matter who or what wrote it.
    • If this article meant as much to Sancho as it seemed to, he'd have known this and expanded it so he could have it permanently.
  • The article Explorer XII and the Involvement in Tortugadesetas both link and relate to my version of the Finipines. While Tortuga can be reverted, Explorer XII fundamentally requires the version I used to exist, and any attempt to change it would severely damage the article.
  • HE HASN'T EDITED IT SINCE SEPTEMBER.
  • Sancho only created the article and left it as a sentence or two. The history testifies: Corai and Jsud carried this until Sancho came and plastered the Adoption template on a LQA item. Snacho came back later, but did little to expand it to even L1A2 in my book.
  • The modern/2000s Phillipines is more corrupt in RL than I depicted it here and has a poor, agrarian economy. I did it a service and I portrayed it as being purged of corruption post-Marcos. RL Phillipines was purged post-Marcos until after Aquino died, and then the corruption returned despite the free elections.

All of these reasons proclaim.

The dictums of consensus do not apply to articles for seizure, nor to OOC property. Site law firmly states that a majority vote can seize and hand an article to another man. I am that man.

VOTE!

Do you support the transfer of all OOC rights of The Finipines to TurtleShroom?

For

Add your signature here if you support TS taking the article.

Against

Add your signature here if you believe the Finipines should remain Sancho's, undisputedly.

When did you take a poll of the ENTIRE Philippines and find that out, hmm? Yours Truly, Explorer 767 (Shame curtains don't hang themselves.) View this template 23:19, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

To TS and Explorer jointly

Add your signature if you want to also hand Exploer co-OOC rights, since he's Asian AND a real Fillipino, balancing the white TurtleShroom's lack of knowledge of the country.

Commentary

Comment: While I don't think I should be used as racial leverage to get TS the article, I do believe TS and I can research enough to make the article as neutral and shiny as possible. (Not to mention that we'll have PRIMARY resources -- my parents, who have lived in the Philippines for most of their lives and are definitely worthy sources of information.) TS, your information is truly irrelevant. I was born in Manila, Phillipines. Not in Canada. I became a Canadian Citizen in 2005.

Don't you have to be above the age of majority and in the country for a certain number of years to become a citizen? Besides, Explorer STILL beats you. He's still a Phillipines citizen (as are his parents) on an extended for-work visa and seeking a Green Card. He's not even a permanent American in our government's eyes... yet! Top that, "Mister I'm Not Tracked by the Customs Board"! If you want to play the "who's more Filipino" game, Exploer has you MEGA-PWNED. -- TurtleShroom™! P.S.: LOL, racial leverage. I spy affirmative action. :P

I don't even know how to speak Filipino or Tagalog. =P (Though I'll attempt to learn this summer.) Yours Truly, Explorer 767 (Shame curtains don't hang themselves.) View this template 22:28, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

Huh. I thought the Filipino language WAS Tagalog. Go figure. -- TurtleShroom™! Jesus Loves You and Died for You!!  :)  :) "They misunderestimated me." -George W. Bush CONSERVATIVES; CONSERVATIVES! In God and bombs we trust! ――–――――― 22:29, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

Tagalog is only one of the MANY regional languages (though I think it's the most widespread one). Filipino is a national language that unifies all the regional languages into one. Yours Truly, Explorer 767 (Shame curtains don't hang themselves.) View this template 22:31, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
