Article deletion[edit]

I'm just following template procedure, coming here to state my distaste towards deleting this article. Yes, I admit that it has sat vacant and unedited for two years, but that was wrong on everyone's part. Not only is it a canon topic, but it is the second confirmed relative of Gary, and there's so much fanon potential I can't even put it all into one message! She was a witch, in medieval times. Back in the times before science, there were Pseudosciences, and there was also Alchemy (which Garianna was a part of due to her brewing potions and knowing how to do such things). And, if I remember correctly, Rockhopper found her book on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT Island, meaning either A. The Gariwald family lived somewhere else at that time, B. Garianna went traveling, C. Maybe she was exiled by the CP community since she was, a witch who liked the ancient sciences, and she eventually learned what she learned and yadda yadda yadda. Gariannna is such a minor character, she doesn't even have an article on the CPW. Nobody here is writing stories or characters about Club Penguin in Medieval Times, and she has no connection to Gary other than being a very distant ancestor. It's hardly wrong that nobody cares about this article and were creative in the way they wanted to be. This article has got to go. Mectrixctic Talk to me! • The thing I find disappointing from our community is not only the fact that everyone is so distant from each other (rarely any collaborations, no conversating on article talk pages/community projects, and does anyone even use talk pages any more?), but also the fact that we've somewhat strayed from our CP roots, and CP in general, it's now just a city in the grand scheme of things (even if it is the most well known city on fanon). Granted that most of the users here no longer play CP itself, we should still be able to pay our dues, our respects to the CP we used to play, by keeping up to date with canon topics, articles, characters, events, etc. I'm no exception to this flaw, but I feel like that's something we should work on, as a community (along with the communication and lack of co-operation problems that we've struggled with). • I agree that the community should be more interactive, but that issue is caused by a lack of editors, not people trying to be isolated. And I doubt keeping this LQA about a minor character who has no effect on the present day will fix any of that. People need to create and utilize articles that they like if we want to be efficient, not focusing on dead ends. Mectrixctic Talk to me! • Everything on canon Club Penguin should be added to fanon, regardless, unless the canon cannot be wrapped around to fit fanon standards, I don't see how Garianna can't be an article here on a wiki that should be supposedly linked onto it's main source. --not amigopen 10:54, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
  • That's where the great minds of fanon come in. Even though in canon CP Sensei is practically Fire Sensei, Water Sensei and Snow Sensei simultaneously, the wiki had expanded upon them being separate characters while still referring to the main reference. What I'm trying to say is that even though there hasn't been much info on Garianna at this time, her character should be expanded upon to fit the Fanon Universe. --not amigopen 05:04, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

To Perapin- While I appreciate what you were trying to do, getting into a revert war with Mec, an experienced long-term user here doesn't help anything. If you're against the deletion template (and thus the article's deletion), you should comment on this page to follow procedure. We can't just go around removing things because we don't like them (and considering the template tells you the legitimate alternative, your edits could be considered vandalism, but they won't for now because I know you weren't intentionally vandalizing). CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 06:30, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Yet you did the same thing. 07:22, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
But, since then we've started a discussion here. Also, I'm an admin, you're not. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 05:00, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
Ideally an admin shouldn't be considered 'in charge' 05:31, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

A new image has been added, but I don't think this page belongs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Puffle Escape (talkcontribs)

Delete[edit]

Perapin was the only user to express interest in this article, and he's dead quit. I say we make this a redirect to G's family.

I agree with CK above, I'm one for expanding the article rather than deleting it for nobody editing it. If anything, you're propagating deleting any article that could be expanded, instead of either offering to or suggesting to expand it yourself. Which is the exact opposite of the meaning of the CPFW. --User:EDFan12345 23:35, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
I have my own articles to expand. So do most other editors. But hey, if you don't want to see it deleted, why don't you expand it? Mectrixctic Talk to me! See the articles I worked on.. see my 5,676 edits! 01:49, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

If this is gonna be deleted, I recommend someone to just create a section in Gary's Family for family members with no need of expanded pages. --not amigopen 07:01, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
