Talk:Nightmare Epic/Plot Revision
I've read the story summary, and it's pretty impressive. The only thing I would change is that Tails X is the one who collects the Destruction Gems (that being the sole purpose he was made). Also we should decide what happens to the X-Spreaders after the battle with Nightmare. This is overall a very interesting plot and I can't wait to see it be written. --Speeddasher
- Fair deuce, how about we have Metal Explorer locate the sites of the Destruction Gems, and Tails X goes and gets them? Also since the X-Spreaders aren't really controlled by Nightmare (they willingly obey her) they would go back to what they originally were doing; IcE robs places (possibly joins Bugzy), Metal Explorer still causes trouble (and possibly joins a pro-fighting circuit countering several hadoukens), Lizlord would probably go out on his pattern alone, and Zone becomes leader of Zero Squadron. - Sounds good. But I would put more focus on battles overall than 1v1 battles. 1v1 battles are good, but too many of them crap the plot. IMO IcE seems the least loyal, so he probably just hits the road when Nightmare starts losing and heads to another power, IE Imperial Emporer or Bugzy, Zone probably makes a break for it second and takes head of Zero Squadron as you said. IDK about Metal Explorer. Lizlord would probably go down with Nightmare seeing as he's the most loyal. Also, if everything is about the Destruction Gems and the USA has most of them, why not choose 6 champions to wield them VS TailsX and Nightmare's goons? - AFAIK, the only 1v1 battle that is going to happen is Zone vs Speed. I see where you're getting at with the loyalty; I assume Lizlord would be trying to defend Orphan when Nightmare and KoS reach that stage. As for the 6 champions comment, it can happen although most of Antarctica thinks Nightmare just wants conquest when in reality she's after the Destruction Gems. Obviously Tails6000 and Speed would be 2 of the 6 champions to guard the Destruction Gems, dunno who the other 4 will be. The champions will have to come in later when everyone realizes what Nightmare's plan is (after she steals the first Destruction Gem I believe) but ultimately, Nightmare will end up getting all 7. I'm all for less 1v1 fights. Also, in answer to the loyalty question, Metal Explorer simply follows Nightmare cause he thinks she's the most powerful and is quite fond of a world without penguins. Also I had an idea of Lizlord transforming into his Wyvern form in an attempt to protect Orphan, but Zone and several other penguins end up killing him. --Speeddasher
- Nightmare's short-term goal = get the Destruction Gems
- Nightmare's long-term goal (as Orphan) = redeem the world of its evil. Orphan's twisted sense of justice believes that destroying the world and creating a new one will redeem the world from the evil things that its done.
- King of Sorrow's short-term goal = get out of Zone. Occasionally, Zone will over-exert on KoS powers so we should have him become KoS at random intervals.
- King of Sorrow's long-term goal = same as Nightmare's.
Also, how's about we have Lizlord guarding the way to Orphan? I agree with Austin about how we should make sure that this story doesn't end up like the GDPW, lets try to make Nightmare a great villain instead of making her the gooey mess that Darktan became.
I also want to mention that I'll be making an X-Virus portal soon, which serves as easy navigation between articles + prunes out the crap articles. Speed, you wanna be a caretaker of the portal with me? I've noticed your efforts w/ the X-Virus articles and you seem to be the right guy for the job. In the meantime, I'll get to work on pictures.
