Plot

Well, my thought is this: Herbert gets his revenge and defeats Kerboom this time, but the Star comes and takes down Herbert, who escapes. Herbert then kidnaps a bunch of puffles, including Fuzzle, and the island falls into chaos as puffles start ravaging the city digging for coins. Star, Person, Kerboom, the bots and others team up and save the puffles. Meanwhile, Fooly sneaks into Herbert's hideout, somehow gets through his defenses and turns off all of the brain boxes. I was thinking maybe Herbert and Switzerland join forces and make helmets, they fail so they kidnap Gary, Isai, and Star but Star escapes and Herbert hypnotized Gary to make helmets to hypnotize puffles and then the Island has a money crisis and surrenders to Herbert but Isai gets Gary's hypnosis off and Gary finds a way to escape and free the puffles - Agent Isai! ^{Back to School!} 12:19, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

OBJECTION! The Canon Club Penguin series specifically states that Herbert stole Gary's puffle transmorgifier to create the brain box. Thirded Fooly's objection. Gary does not get kidnapped in Operation Puffle, and this obviously seems like an attempt to recreate this. The storyline is best if we limit the characters OR have the characters "stick together". Plus we should remove any irrelevancies like the Quest For The Gold Puffle and the Cave-in events. Otherwise this prologue is going to be way too long.

Seconding this. You could have the characters (agents, normal penguins, etc) all team up together after some circumstance and they all work to defeat Herbert. Main Character

Alright, looking at the story and its talk, I think we should decide on a main character. We have three choices (I'm being nice and counting Isai). We could have it be Fooly, who desperately seeks Fuzzle and ultimately defeats Herbert. We could have Isai be captured with G for some apparent reason then somehow magically get himself out and save the world and stuff. Or, we could use O: B's finishing hero Kerboommista be the hero again and make him a running main character or something. Vote down here. Voting ends Friday. Idea

I think it would pay to treat Herbert P. Bear as a "focal character" rather than just the antagonist; after all, he is the main reason for the events. Operation: Puffle's canonical storyline has not given much insight into Herbert's side of the story, so perhaps the fanon counterpart can fill that gap. For example, we could find out how Herbert found the Indestructible Containment Environment.

Doctor the article

This isn't progressing much, so here's some ideas:

• More proactive scenes. What if the tremors were caused by underground drilling by someone with a goal that links to the bigger story?
• The rope trap at the Lava Cliffs could be used for a potential climax point. But make sure there's a powerful lead up to the climax.

Snow's part of the story

The reason I deleted Snow's section of the story is because he did not follow the storyline. If he had actually read it he would've known that all but one puffle was kidnapped and it was Director Benny, so a group of puffles couldn't go on a rescue mission to save somebody who's kidnapped if THEY'RE kidnapped.
