Sorry to burst everyone's bubbles, but it can't be the "Joseonean peninsula", because it's an island. A peninsula is an area of land surrounded by water on 3 sides if I remember correctly. Either way, an island isn't a peninsula, so it'd be the "Joseonean island", although I think it should go by a proper name instead which (imo) would be "Joseon Island" or something of that sort.
