"The Captain Jack Penguin Rap of Glory", usually called "Jack's Rap", is a wildly successful rap song by the beloved, obscure band Greasy Spoon. Famous for its one-hit-wonder songs that top the charts, sell millions, and vanish, this is their fourth song. Its topic is the world-renowned, infamous Captain Jack Penguin, the master pirate extraordinaire that has a serious hatred for Rockhopper. The song was released on September 1, 2011 by Club Penguin Music Records and achieved a Platinum certification within a week of release.

Background[edit]
The song was written by the band in October 2010, and decided to contact GGD to deliver a rap verse in the song, which was recorded on November 2, 2010. GGD wrote his verse, while Captain Jack Penguin sent his permission and complements to Greasy Spoon. It is unknown if Greasy Spoon are planning to include this single on an album, but it is being thought that an album will be released in late 2012. "Jack's Rap" is only 2 minutes and 9 seconds in run-length but was praised by critics for its originality and Rockhopper sea-shanty-influenced instrumental. Greasy Spoon produced the song themselves. Originally DJ Crow and Yusei were approached to produce.
