The Shootout is the story of two semi-professional football clubs, the Mattress Village Patriots and Polaris Revolution, in the Final match of the playoffs of the Football League of Eastern Antarctica (FLEA). The winner would receive the John Goldman Dentist Cup (I know, not a catchy name). It was broadcasted on Penguin TV after an Antarctic Times columnist, who was viewing the match, write a long section about the match, including the week-long wait for the penalty shootout, grabbing media attention.
