The USA Presidential Elections 2012 (AKA: The Presidental Elections or The USAPE 202) was the first public election for the Antarctican president. The incumbent president, Billybob, agreed that he would not run for re-election (since he had ruled since 2005). His party the Grand Republicans Party promoted Spike Hike as their candidate. Spike Hike won the election by a small majority, and became the new Antarctican president in January of 2013. The elections took place on November 10, 2012.

Candidates[edit]

  • Spike Hike - Was rallying and campaigning all the time, unlike Billybob. He said he would take good care of the USA and prevent as much international conflict as possible.
  • Polo Field - Was campaigning, and was openly caring about all of Antarctica, even the USA's enemies.
  • Darktan - Said he was going to take good care, but everyone realized he was being sarcastic, due to his misdeeds from the past.

The Election[edit]

Primary Election[edit]

There were only two candidates after it became quite clear that nobody wanted Darktan or Nightmare as president. After weeks of voting, there was a virtual tie between Spike Hike and Polo Field. It was left undecided, until it was discovered some didn't vote. The election was going to end in a day. Officials all over the USA were searching for people to ask them if they voted. Just one second to midnight on the end of the election, another vote was added to Spike Hike and he became the new president, in a far from landslide election.

Protests[edit]

Due to the thin line between Polo and Spike, many protests broke out across the USA. They were angry that Spike had won with a mere 1 vote, and demanded another election. The government gave in, and arranged a second vote for the presidency.

Secondary Election[edit]

After the protests, both Polo Field and Spike Hike were given another 2 weeks to get penguins on their side. As penguins realized that Polo wasn't willing to war their enemies, some got the wrong picture and thought that Polo frankly didn't care about their enemies. This gave Spike more voters. But the truth was, Spike also wanted to keep peace between the USA and their enemies, but he just explained it more clearly to the masses. Polo's simple mistake in his speeches gave Spike Hike the overall upper hand in the election.

When votes were held again, Spike had won not by a landslide, but in a fair vote this time. To be fair, Polo Field became vice president.
