The War of Independence was a war that took place in 2010, between the Club Penguin Wikis on Wikia, and the Wikian Empire. Queen Angela I and Commander Sannse introduced a mandatory plague called "Oasis". As a result, all wikis wanted to break free from Wikian rule. After a CPWN victory, the penguins were vaccinated against the oasis plague and given vitamins called "Monaco" and "Vector". Wikian rule was also abolished, forming the Club Penguin Wiki Network, where wikis have a say in how they operate, not greedy Wikian rulers.
