Allanea, also known as the Free Empire of Allanea, is a Free Republic located north of Furshire. The nation is situated on a large island with several medium-sized islands surrounding it. Ruled by a constitutional monarchy under Emperor Slender since 2015, it has since been thriving in terms of economy, making it a popular hotspot for immigrants. It is quite populated for a nation like it's size as a result of the creation of high-density industrial cities. Given it's position on the map, Allanea enjoys a four-seasonal climate. Total solar eclipses also occur at several cities such as Astonberg and the notorious Eclipse City at least once a week, with an average eclipse lasting for at least 4 hours. Even then, business still goes on in affected areas as a result of the Allaneans' spirit of dilligence and hard work.
Despite having a large resource of minerals, the mining industry only makes up a medium percentage of the much diversified economy. Allanea's main exports are diamonds, sapphires, platinum and shale oil that was discovered in 2011, with the capital of Astonberg being a well-known trade and mining hub for diamonds. The discovery of shale oil has also encouraged the creation of several futuristic-looking cities around areas containing rich deposits of shale oil, with the most recent being Glepool, which was established in 2014. Allanea also has a strong military to protect itself, occassionally sending military aid to its allies.

Allanea was first settled around the late 18th century by penguins from the Ninja Archipelago. In most cases, they somehow got lost when travelling around Furshire. Slowly, a community started growing when the settlers mingled with each other. Buildings were built, rural parts of the island were discovered and towns prospered. Eventually, the towns grew to become cities. The islands around it were developed as well. With the arrival of Zhouese penguins in the early 19th century came the secrets of silk. A strong textile industry soon flourished, which further surged with the arrival of the Industrial Revolution. By the start of the 20th century, traders from the High Penguin Confederacy, Grand Permatan, Frankterre and Castilla traded actively at the island's port cities, as do merchants from Zhou and Japaland. Even then, the cities were independent from each others, with each city being ruled by a council.
Unexpectedly, the evil forces of Khanzem invaded the island and occupied it. Well, at least that's what they thought. In reality, the Naughtzees only took over Eclipse City, bringing in a wave of Alemanian immigrants. In comparison with the rest of Antarctica, the Khanzem occupation of parts of Allanea was quite peaceful with no oppression or resistance. Economic activities continued as usual, allowing Allanea to prosper furthermore and shed itself from the worst horrors of the Khanzem War.
