Austin wanted me to do this, so here we go.....

We had a new idea for a wiki-wide story that should give us something to do over the summer. It's a parody of the SubSpace Emissary mode in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with the same concept and a bit of a twist on the plot.

An evil villain (haven't decided yet) takes control of the CyberVoid and starts sending chunks of Antarctica into the Void, wishing to create a new, "better" version of the world, which he calls "the CyberVoid Proxy". The USA and other superpowers assemble a squad of elites and heroes, splitting them up and sending them off to fend against the villain and his minions and prevent the Proxy's creation. They go through many adventures and all finally end up in the CyberVoid, where they defeat said villain and destroy the Proxy altogether.

Of course, there are still some holes in the plot. We haven't decided what trophy state will be (though I personally think it should involve bagels), or the specific areas where the character squads will visit. But there will be some rules to this. The story will be a kind of pass-along -- users may write chapters that involve their character. First come, first serve -- whoever writes a chapter first sets it in stone, unless some policy violations or errors need to be fixed. Also, if someone neglects to write in a chapter, another user whose character is involved in said chapter may write it. If anyone neglects to write a chapter, I will nag them over the Shout Box or through their talk page. Yes, I am not above that.
