Like an other blog from a fellow user, the wiki does seem to be dying. Even the users who used to be one of the most active users in the database are losing edits. For those who aren't bothered to check Special:ActiveUsers, here's a list of users who were active in the last 30 days, from least active to active.

In total, we have 19 users. Apparently, 10 (not including Elfarcher) users are very inactive in edits. 5 users are in the middle of active and inactive and 4 users are completely active. That means only 9 users are pretty much active, which is a danger to the database.
