Recently, I was travelling around the internetz and found this place called NationStates.net. So today, I was just messing around, trying to come up with a name for a new nation and I entered "Shops Island" and discovered THIS. It's Shops Island on NationStates, and it was created merely 9 hours ago, so I'm really wondering who made it. Then I had the idea of getting Fanon involved with NationStates, we could make a custom region like "Fanon Antarctica" and create Fanon Countries and add them to the region. It'd be a good way to show off how our governments would work with issues that NationStates generates. So what do you think guys? (ALSO WHO CREATED SHOPS ISLAND???) --

New news: I have successfully founded the USA and the region Fanon Antarctica in NationStates. Here's the region. If anyone's interested in joining, ping me on IRC and I'll PM you the password. - Heh. I already have one, a communist dictator-ruled country. I play on here when I'm bored or when I have spare time. If you want me to, I can make a new nation and move over to the fanon region. Also, Amigopen, you need to go into settings (on the sidebar) and click "create your own flag" ;). --

Our region is making progress, with 10 members and counting. Existing nations in the region ought to apply for WA membership, and you have to stay active, for if you don't log in for 28 days, your nation will be deleted. Oh, and you can only have one nation in the WA at a time. For new members, create your own country and ask Snowstormer or me for the pass code, so your nation can join the CPFW region. Can someone put this up on the site notice so as to hopefully attract new users here?
