Okay, so I had an idea for a story. Each night, for a few hours, I play on my cell phone's internet (I-Phone) and mainly look at pictures on Deviant Art. For the past week or more, the subject of my portraits was EarthBound. Most people know EarthBound from Ness and Lucas in Super Smash Brothers', but there's a lot more to him than that.
An old, old game, older than my sister, featured Ness and friends. The game's graphics were considered bargain basement, but anyone who's played it says its always says the the same two things: that 1) the story is amazing and the game is great, and 2) Giygas- the main villain -is horrifyingly unnerving. (TV Tropes calls Giygas the "Ultimate Mind Screw".)
Anyway, I said that to say this. Two days from now, September 10th, will mark the anniversary of when 12Y pitched this idea. Due to my current fixation with the series, I've decided to take a big leap of faith.
I'm going to play EarthBound.
That's right. Play it.
PC ports of Earthbound stand tall all over the Black Market, so I can get one without paying a penny!!
-and I hope to pen the story of the ages as I do! Yes, you heard it right, I'm going to write a story, and it's going to be a big one. The biggest. (-and no, unless someone helps me, I won't finish it.)
Join me, and hopefully, write with me, as I partake in the playing of EarthBound and the writing of SkyBound.
It'll all be revealed...
...with voter approval.

Well, I'm not too sure. If I take the plunge, I'll have the weight of storytelling on my shoulders, and I never finish anything I start. I'll need some help with this, and maybe even get some friends to draw stuff for me.

I finish video games, but never stories. Should I forgo this and not take on a task I'll never complete?
- I don't want to rain on a parade, but video games take at least 1-2 months to complete. This is the school year-free time is minimal. So, it'll be a really long time before you can even start. And then, you'll get like halfway through and hit a stumbling block. It'll end up to be a complete waste of time you could have spent trying to finish your OLD STORIES. --Austin8310 King Radical. - I agree with Austin. And judging from recent statements from you, you should focus on schoolwork and I can tell from your enthusiasm this will distract. School always comes first, even if you are homeschooled. I'm not talking about the situation you were in before, because that's probably done now (hopefully). - I really don't want to be negative-but this will take forever. I got A Link to the Past on Emulator about a month ago-only halfway through. Unless you wrote as you were playing, which would be hard, or finished it really quick, it might be tough. And dude, a vote? --Austin8310 King Radical. School?[edit]
People have suggested that I not do this because of school.
They forgot something. I live in the magical world of homeschooling.
- In homsechooling, I do my work in a hour.
- What you do in eight hours, I do in one.
- I have already completed one SEMESTER of British Literature. I started in August.
- I have nothing to do from about 2:00 PM to bedtime.
- I have free time.
