User blog:Wonderweez/Vote
ON July 16th, 2016, two Requests for Administrators were cast in the respective page by Ed and Pens, following the resignation and quitting of the previous administrators, Amigo and Swiss. Both votes were well received by the community, with Ed on a clear path to winning the position. However, several administrators were quick to point out the lack of users to administrators, with 6 currently instated as an administrator, and about 20 active users, counting admins. As of now, 4 administrators have commented on the current amount of admins, with one not responding and another continuing neutrality.
IN RESPONSE I have decided to make two votes- one for a referendum regarding the administrator vote, in which a two point majority is required to pass by 5 or more administrators, and another for an amendment to the rule book regarding the administrators needed in the current user base, both for present and future use. All users are welcome to vote, except for the first one- which will be allowed, but won't be counted. I am looking specifically for the administration to vote for that one.
VOTE ONE[edit]
BY VOTING YES, you agree that the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki needs more administrators, and that the vote shall go through.
BY VOTING NO, you disagree that the Club Penguin Fanon wiki needs more administrators, and that the vote shall NOT go through.

VOTE TWO[edit]
The following is the proposed amendment to the rules regarding administrators.
RECOGNIZING the lack of users currently on the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki, standard mandate and rules shall be that there will be NO MORE VOTES FOR ADMINISTRATOR until the user base has reached a level where another administrator is needed, the admin to user ratio is greater than 4, or if an administrator is needed to cover more bases in either the Wiki or timezones.
UNDERSTANDING the necessity to prevent over-saturation of administrators and to encourage the users that the wiki is not a "power festival," but rather a place where no one is idealistically oppressed, judged, or condemned for the actions by a large group of administrators, users, etc.
PROPOSING that the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki shall not hold votes for administrator until the user base goes up, or one more administrator resigns from the proposed total of 6 (six), unless for reasons such as lack of admins, more users, or if an administrator is needed to cover more times or mainspace, effective JANUARY 1ST, 2017.
