Swiss Ninja Respondes[edit]

Although requested not to comment until completion, I will state my comment now since I am the only person involved in this. In my opinion, this should have been on my talk page rather than on a blog.

I'll start first by saying that the map is slightly off. The scale of the AU nations are completely smaller on the USA map than it is on the AU Map, where they are bigger. I will estimate that Furshire is about the same or a little smaller than Alemania.

Second- The AU nations have higher Population densities. ALL nations except for Snowzerland and Lichenstien have been inhabited for many centuries, most being colonized prior to the Common Era. During the late middle ages until the Khanzem War, the average household had 4 to 5 children. City homes were built close together to allow space to farm. The high population density led to overpopulation and overcrowding. National wealth was growing in each country. Penguins and puffles needed more space and they had no choice but finding other places to live. This is the case with the majority of the AU, although the young Snowzerland is a different issue.

Third- AU nations have attempted to conquer Antarctica, but never lasted. Snowzerland was aided by other countries when attempting to invade the USA in the GSWI. The Região Lisboaguesa was not conquered, but sold to Lisboagal. The Frostize Enclave had been Ligurian prior to USA and Viking Empire existance. (the size of the enclave is smaller than shown on the map, since it only encompasses one city and it's suburbs)

Fourth- Castilla and Snowzerland islands ALONE would have NO chance fighting the USA, UTR, or Freezeland. Both nations have several colonies. Castilla has the majority of the Latin Antarctica Archipelago and Penguifornia, while Snowzerland owns the German States, Johnfrum Island, Terninia, and Nuke Island.

Unlike Snowzerland, Castilla conquered the majority of it's lands by force during the 1400's to 1600's, with the exception of a few islands like Penguifornia and Isla del Trueque. The lands that they did conquer were home to indigenous penguins who used primitive tools such as spears, axes, and bow and arrows- a no comparison to a Castillan musket rifle (during the 1400's conquests)... Disease also killed off and/or weakened natives and gave the Castillans strong dominance.

Snowzerland, in a sense, is a total joke. In 2000, the Kaiser rallied Colonial Antarctica loyalists to help him start his own country. Swiss Ninja is a good orator and rather persuasive. When he inhabited Snowzerland island with the sponsorship of the USA, Swiss Ninja made Snowzerland appear as the land of Promise and Opportunity. Many immigrants came in, mostly Alemanian, Osterrean, Ligurian, Frankterran, Freezelandian, and Colonial Antarctican Loyalists, and they helped build Snowzerland, while SN began major spending, bringing himself into debt but still borrowing money. Eventually, he convinced Alemania and Osterrreach to be part of his nation, and their annexes tripled the total population. Swiss Ninja conducted many wars and got away with it because he and the Government has a lot of money, and the debt to the USA is completely ignored and pronounced "cleared out" by corrupted Government Media. Thus Snowzerland is rather rich, mainly because it never paid back it's debts. Meanwhile, Terninia was purchased by the Snoss- it has a small population but it is a military research center. Nuke Island is not permanently populated, rather small, and is only home to a nuclear power plant, a Uranium mine, a Military Research Facility, and a Nuclear Weapons Assembly and Storage Center.

Other nations with several Colonies/Overseas Territories would be the UK (Puffle'and), Batavia, and Frankterre. The UK has also fell to SN's control but he is not in total control; he only commands their military and is the Monarch, while Parliament runs the nation. The UK has several colonies, some conquered, others discovered to be uninhabited.

In brief, the AU's high population, myrad of island colonies, deep history, and strong armies have kept it sucessful. The AU is not intending to invade the USA (except for the Snoss, but they'll never succeed), and they are strong allies with Polaris (to whom they give Military Aid and are pending AU members) and Freezeland, whom may be asked to join the AU too if Polaris does...

That's all I got. I also dont understand why we keep needing so many reforms, as the wiki has changed so rapidly, I think it is fine the way it is. I am the only guy who runs a lot of countries still, being said that TS no longer actively edits yet stalks often.

As for a Country policy, I do not think it is quite necessary, nor would I believe the majority of the community care due to the fact they are in different genres like TV shows, sports, or Music. If anything, we should vote on this if you STRONGLY feel this is necessary. Few people make countries anymore, mostly because we are running out of room in the seas as the mainland is all taken. Countries have been my expertise along with my stories, where they are constantly in use. Yes, I am also currently expanding/fixing ceartain parts of my countries to make them better as well, and I will also have to tie them in more into Global interactions, which we can all do as long as it is not used in OOC.

I also apologise for the long "TurtleShroom" like comment. This is my best subject and this blog is involved in the realm of my work.

P.S. OH, Also....FIFTH Thing! History- I have already integrated my island nations into Antarctic history, especially in the story of Sigurd and Bacchus as well as the Penguin Empire.

Are you so drunk with power that you're going to KO other users' work, too?! I can not let such a thing stand. I call upon a ruler with the appropriate powers to murder this vile, disrespectful proposition where it stands. WITH FIRE. (I'd do it, but, well, you know.) -- TurtleShroom! In Regards to the FR Polaris[edit]

I do concur with you, AJ, that we should allow the FR Polaris to be independent from the United States of Antarctica, albeit that the two parties shall have close bilateral relations. I do believe that Polaris, along with its other municipalities and cities within the Republic would have been it's own entity prior to the fall of Colonial Antarctica in 1999, and emerged as a separate state from the United States of Antarctica, although the FR Polaris would have been a Free Republic of the USA until July 27,2011, in which the Free Republic Treaty had expired, thus forcing the USA to relenquish military control over the FR Polaris. Polaris' economy had been first driven by vast oil revenues and the development of the bank and financial industry within Polaris, transportation, manufacturing, tourism, pharmaceuticals, and to a minor extent, mining and agriculture. I also believe that the policy needs to be written by AJ, along with the collaboration and input of several **trustworthy and courteous** users. -- Sanchonachos Republicans:Stop Whining. 04:58, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Agent Johnson[edit]

@Swiss Ninja: No, I'm not proposing to delete your nations. Never, I love them. You're actually getting way more land. However, you are slightly wrong. Look at India, one of the most populous nations in the world. Statistically, they have a high GDP but low GDP per capita. It means that they are a rich nation but most people don't feel the affect of it. This is the same as Japan and the United States, highly populated nations which have shocking amounts of poverty compared to the EU. China is another example, the China most of you see today are cities with cars everywhere, the reality is that most people will and will always remain poor, stupid rice farmers. Also, Freezeland is closer to the USA due to the Treaty of Dorkugal and the War of 2002, plus the Free Republic Union. I'd love a war between the the AU and the FRU. You'd have to be REALLY REALLY REALLY wealthy to cope with such overpopulation. You may have to rename to the Peninsula Union but overall, you get a really good deal. Also, if you don't pay back debt... yeah, just look at Iceland, Greece, Portugal, Ireland and Italy IRL, heck even the USA. Same with Polaris. Realistically, I predict a debt crisis to occur within several years.

@TurtleShroom: Ok.

@AeroNachos: Sure thing. It would be like if Vermont actually became indpendent, albeit on a grander scale. The Free Republic thing only occurred in the War of 2002 by the way... maybe Polaris could had been a state and a term of the Treaty of Dorkugal would had been independence. --Network staffJohn (talk|blog|contribs) 12:58, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

SN Responds again[edit]

@AgentJohnson- I actually wasn't thinking that you were going to delete them at all. Well, first off, your plan to move the whole AU would be OOC. I chose that distant location for two reasons- one, so it could retain a Taiga climate, and two, because the USA and Europe have a large gap between them as well. The location should not change also simply because you can't change the location of the British Isles to the Carribean just because everyone wants them to, as an example.

As for changing history- that would be very costly, and as Exxy said before, Colonial Antarctica was a modern version of the parody, same with War of 2002 and Snowman Empire.

--Gottfried Pondering.pngUser:Swiss Ninja Clovis Hochstadt Performing.png (My Talk Page) 14:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

We made a parody of the United States of America and it has a polar climate. The climate of the RL USA is very diverse, consisting of a range of taigas, coniferous forests, grasslands, deserts, subtropical areas etc. Distance doesn't matter; we made a Babylonian Empire parody precede a Roman Empire parody, when they weren't even in the same time frame. What really confuses me is the big leap from line infantry tactics to modern warfare in the space of 10 years (aka from CA to the USA). The size of your islands would literally not be able to sustain such a population and due to the amount of debt, people will stop lending if they know you won't pay back or will do it for higher interest rates and then what will you do when the banks run dry?
If people want to make countries, we should allow for territory to be ceded from the massive USA. But this Country Policy needs to have limits (i.e you can't take half of the USA) and we need to ensure that we can enforce continuity.--Network staffJohn (talk|blog|contribs) 15:12, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Well, like I said, It would ruin continuity and I like the islands where they are. Secondly, the overpopulation I was talking about was during the Middle Ages to the 1800's, which is to explain why AU nations needed to expand territory. THE ONLY country with overpopulation issues is Castilla, although most of them move off to the spacious farmlands of Latin Antarctica.

Meanwhile, the only country who actually has debts is Snowzerland. Other AU nations have only depended on each other for the rare occation of borrowing money. Now, Snowzerland got deep in USA debt, but it is now Shrugged off and Swiss Ninja has no intentions on paying it back, since he's a dictator and a hater of the USA. Thus, with the debt "cleared", Snowzerland is rather prosperous (due to the discovery of platinum deposits after the USA bombed them) for those who live in the upper and high middle classes. (And no, no one died in the Bombings, and everything is rebuilt, although it caused Lake Zurich to turn into a bay. So no, in a sense, no one in the AU is in debt.

Response from Welcome00[edit]

You know, I think we should have an area where it parodies Asia countries. --Welcome00 Talk 07:42, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Yes we should :3 --not amigopen 09:12, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Moar response from Welcome00[edit]

What if we start a war that in which the aftermath of the war will form exactly according as AJ's proposed map. --Welcome00 Talk 11:52, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Do we really have to do a header with our names on all the time? Why can't I be different and offer a radical alternative by complaining about it?[edit]

That wouldn't make sense though. Modern warfare is different; people have access to the internet. Violent non-state actors would rise up influenced by people simply emailing each other. That's how the Tottenham Riots became the London Riots, when then became the 2011 England Riots. Look at Syria, the rebellion is surviving with the media and the internet. It would make sense culturally.--Network staffJohn (talk|blog|contribs) 11:59, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

I will not permit The AU to become Mainland. It would be OOC and too much of a hassle.
