Discussion of any aspect of the site, and inquiries, can be made at Talk:Main_Page or on the "discussion" page associated with each article. It helps if you sign and date your contributions there, so that readers know "who to talk to" and whether your message is probably still of current interest. If you write on a user's "talk" page, that user will get an alerting message on next visit.
Remember to sign every discussion or talk page with four tildes (~~~~).

Getting Involved[edit]
Getting involved is somewhat easy to do.
First off, you have DEFINITE permission to have you character(s) mention, visit, and/or live in any Country, State, or Town in the Fanon Universe. Your characters can live on Club Penguin Island, or you can go exotic and choose to live in either FOUR major regions in the Fanon Universe- Antarctica, Ninja Archipelago, Asiapelago, and UnitedTerra.
I encourage you to explore each place and learn about their unique cultures and differences.
If you want to mention other characters from other users, you need to ask permission of the owner of the character to use him/her.
Finally, objects can also be used by anyone UNLESS they are not sold in stores or are in ultra rare quantities.
For all the official rules about using other characters, places, and objects, go and see our OOC Policy. This is our official rules on continuity. If you break the OOC policy, your writing is subject to a revision by an Admin to keep continuity and to avoid OOC, so read the OOC policy!

Fonts and Strikes[edit]
To cross words out, type in the following:

It will turn into the following:

Fonts are rarely used here and im not sure if they are still possible. The only other font we have is typewriter face.
To use typwriter face, type in the following:
<tt>Document A: Legal Case Number 405</tt>
And it will turn out like this:

- Please be aware that the typewriter face font is ONLY used for In Universe Legal Documents such as Court related stuff, military treaties, passed laws, etc.

Yeah. You can make a parody of anything unless if it is already taken.
There is a template for companies. Go here and Copy/Paste the template into the article.
We've been low on new users for a while but things are beginning to pick up, as it usually is when summer approaches. It is even more rare to get female users.

Hello!
1. That's because I once OWNED this Wiki, my child! I am known because I own. This site was at my command and all things were more virtuous, especially in the form of fighting vice. At least, that was when I ruled the world.
2. Sprites, as in like this? Sprites from video games? That requires either MS Paint or ArtCursors and a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of paitience. For Club Penguin sprites, go to the archival centrer.
3. The Wall of Fame honors the greatest users in site history. You have to be nominated and you can't ask to be nominated.
Templates, Secret Pages, and Background Penguins[edit]
- To make a template, make a page with the word "Template:". Use the squiggle brackets {{}} to bring that template page onto any other page you want. On how to make a template, visit already existing Template pages you like, click edit, and copy paste to your template so that you can make your changes and personal touches.
- Secret pages- Technically they dont exist. Every page ever created is logged onto the Recent Changes page, where everyone can see who is editing what at any given moment. You can too, just look for the recent changes page link under "Wiki Navigation" on the sidebar at the left.
- Background Penguins- I dont know what you mean. Can you please be more specific?

Character page tips[edit]
Hey SDM. I do have some tips to help you make good characters.
The Background or History tab on a character page is used to describe the history of a character, such as their birth, where they grew up and went to school, where they attended College/ University, their first job, etc...
When writing Character pages or any page in general, you need to write in the third person at all times (ex. he, she, his, her, it, its) and NOT second person (you, your) or First person (I, me, my) unless you're writing a story or are writing a quote from a character. (ex. Swiss Ninja told the soldier, "You are a good fighter. I am proud of you.")
Also, it is not necessary to add a "Title" tab to articles. It is already done for you when you make the page.
Finally, please look at characters such as Explorer 767, TurtleShroom (penguin), Clovis Hochstadt, Jock Hochstadt, and Bro to see how we format character information.

X-Virus[edit]
Hello. The name's Agent Rogue but you can call me Ro. It's nice knowing that you're an enthusiastic editor in this wiki. And I give you a warm welcome. Anyways, the X-Virus can affect anyone because it's a... disease. You don't really need to ask anymore, no offense. Well, nice talking? Oh wait! I almost forgot to tell you that in the icon "Preferences", you can edit your signature there. ----ARB of RUSSIA!!! RE: X-Virus[edit]
The governance of the X-Virus is very simple.
- The X-Virus can infect most any creature. It collapses its victim and spawns an evil copy of itself. The evil copy can have some form of power, but I'd reccomend having a similar penguin. X-Creatures are always darker color and universally dress in a more "creepy" or scene/Goth theme and have, somewhere visibly on their body, a scar in the shape of a "X".
- Although X-Creatures are usually villains, that is in no way a requirement, contrasted with what was written above. There are good X-Creatures and evil ones, so you can take your pick. Remember, X-Creatures should bare resemblance to their original, like a fraternal twin brother or sister. They are technically clones, but have significant differences in appearence because of the nature of the pathogen.
- X-Creatures are always the same gender as their counterpart. Female creatures spawn female X-Creatures.
- All X-Creatures must be categorized under Category:X-Creatures (without that colon at the front).
- The best name for them is "(your character) X", so it'd be Anna Fjord X.
Regarding to this, the only penguins that cannot catch the X-virus are penguins living in Margate. Just for the info.

I am aware, but the uploading is fully operational. You can still do it. Do know that you should contact Staff members such as Sharkbate and Seahorse instead of contacting Administrators like me for Technical issues and glitches.
