Welcome to Snowy Falls is the first episode of the TV series Snowy Falls.
Plot[edit]
The story arc begins in episode 1, "Welcome to Snowy Falls", which is the introduction episode of all the characters. In "Welcome to Snowy Falls", Jake and Cora's parents believe that the twins need some fresh air, so they send them up to Grunkle John's home for the Summer, all the way up in Snowy Falls. Their grunkle, apparently, lives in a cheap igloo tourist trap he calls the Mystery Igloo.
From the first day Jake is there, he believes something weird is going on in the town. At one point, he is forced by John to hammer up signs in the forest to advertise the Mystery Igloo, but ends up trying to hammer a nail into a tree that seems to be medal. He opens it up to find a control panel, and one of the switches opens up a hole in the ground, to show a old, dusty, red journal with a golden puffle on it and the number 3. When he skims through it, he finds that he's not the only one who thinks Snowy Falls is full of mysteries.
Cora manages to find out about his journal by sneaking up on him, and when they bring it back to the igloo, Cora introduces her new boyfriend, Robert, and Jake's obsession with the paranormal town makes him think that her boyfriend is a zombie, but Cora doesn't believe him. After following them around to find proof he is a zombie, he sees a clip of Robert's hand falling off and him putting it back on, making sure nobody noticed. When Robert takes Cora out to the forest on a date, he reveals to Cora that he is really just 5 gnomes in a suit, and they are looking for a new queen.
The gnomes capture Cora, and attempt to force her to marry the leader of the gnomes, but Jake, now noticing the proof, finds Cora captured and saves her. The gnomes form a giant monster and chase them in the Mystery Igloo golf cart, and they crash at the Mystery Igloo. While trying to find a way to stop the monster, Cora remembers having "kissing practice" with Robert on a leaf blower and uses a nearby one to trick the gnome leader into thinking she's going to kiss him and then sucks him in, and shoots him out at the monster, spreading the gnomes out around the area.
After having defeated the gnomes, the twins go back inside and John makes fun of them for looking wrecked up (unaware of the gnomes). Wanting to take his rudeness back, he lets both of the twins take one item from the gift shop for free. Jake takes a hat with a palm tree on it, and Cora takes a grappling hook. At the end of the episode, John is seen sneaking into a secret place under the register desk, leaving off the episode in a cliffhanger.
