Willy and Kody: Operation SHAZAM
Willy and Kody: Operation SHAZAM is an animated crossover television special combining the universe of Willy and Kody and SHAZAM Comics. It is a special episode of the fourth season of Willy and Kody. It aired on Penguin Network on August 16, 2013. It will air on Treetee on August 23rd, 2013. It will also air on Icey Channel and Icey XD on August 25, 2013. Its DVD release will be on October 1, 2013.
Plot[edit]
Dr. Henry creates an invention that actually works and drains the powers from Iron Penguin, Ghor, Spider-Penguin, and Captain Antarctica. While the heroes head to Willy and Kody to seek help and to restore their powers, White Skull, B.O.F.A.K. (Built Only For Awesome Killing), Sludge, and Vipwhash try to find the secret to Henry's power-draining technology.
Production[edit]
In August 2012, at Penguin Con, it was announced that the Penguin Network and the The Walt Icey Company were going to team up to create an animated crossover combining their most popular properties. While Willy and Kody had always been produced by Penguin Network, SHAZAM had been an Icey property since 2009. "This is an exciting opportunity fot both of our properties to meet for the first time. We cannot wait for all of you guys to see it!" said Penguin Network president Flip Per in an interview.
Voice acting was provided by the same penguins who voiced the heroes and villains in their respective TV series.
